The results shows the global mobile sales figures prove something that we all have noticed: the smartphones tend to be the norm on mobile devices, and The Android has gained global dominance in space.
Android and Samsung are the winners in the second quarter of 2012 to Gartner, sales of the iPhone to remain relatively unchanged, as Apple fans waiting to see the next version. Overall, the world's 419 million mobile phones were sold, a 2.3% decline in the market than last year, while one third of the devices sold were smartphones. Apple and Samsung together have 83% market smartphone.
Total sold 99 million Android phones, which corresponds to 64% of the market smartphones (last year were 43.4%). Half Android sold belong to the family Samsung Galaxy, while the Galaxy S3 has already risen to 10 million units, two months after its release on the market.
People bought 29 million iPhone this quarter (18.8% market share smartphone), while both the Symbian and BlackBerry conquered the 5.9% and 5.2% of the market respectively, with bada and Windows Phones to conquer the 2.7% market.
