Introduction
The HTC makes debut at this year's Windows Phone, which is also its great mobile operating with the Microsoft. Changes in operating not been apart from adding a few small applications from HTC, such as the operation of the flash as a flashlight and a unit converter, so having it enjoyed an authentic experience of Windows Phone 8. Let's see if it's worth giving the 600 euro needed to put it in your life.

Appearance and Quality

Seeing for the first time mobile impressed by the beautiful silhouette. Being thin and lightweight and conveniently fits easily in the palm, something that helps the curved back. The mobile is made of polycarbonate materials that give it a matte appearance and texture with the result that you want to let your mobile from your hand, but to embrace it and caress anytime.

Tremors and other assembly problems naturally and there is nothing that is partly due to the lack of detachable sections, feature which lets you without the ability to add micro SD card or change the battery. In contrast, light signs will stay in the back if you scratch with moderate force to an object. The front occupied by 80% the screen with the remaining 20% to be completed by the capacitive buttons on the headset. On the sides are 3 physical buttons, this camera and the change of sound, while the upper part is the sleep / wake button and the jack of 3.5mm. However, the placement of these keys is not the best. It seems that HTC believes that mobile will buy left-handed, because the sleep button is in an excellent location if you use it with your left hand, while extremely inconvenient when you have the right. Furthermore, both this and the Volume Rocker not protrude sufficiently from the frame to be pressed easily. Especially the latter has no slot to give the user to understand at what point presses. So, to get used to your hand the exact location of "+" and "-" will make some little mistake.

Screen
The mobile screen is one of the very strong features. With 4.3-inch diagonal, resolution High Definition, ie 1280 × 720 pixels and the latest technology Super LCD 2 will offer a premium experience in every aspect, from the navigation menu to view your favorite videos and games, while large viewing angles will enable you to use it on any .

Windows Phone 8
The operating system of the phone is of course Windows Phone 8 that Microsoft has improved so that they can stand with claims on iOS and Android competition. It relies entirely on live tiles, which informs you at any time for anything new, whether it's a message or notification on Facebook. If not, they are placed appropriately render the presence of a notification center useless, as all your alerts in front of your eyes. Moreover, with increasing size, they can view additional information as the theme of the last email you your next appointment or a mosaic made from photos of your friends.

Social networking is an area that Microsoft has shed enough weight to be concentrated in the application People. The App this is quite a collection of updates from your social circle. In this contribution the excellent integration of social networks in this application, which makes them useless applications, which causes smiles when talking to Facebook, whose application and leaves the best impression. This social gathering facilitated by the application of the messages, which incorporates your social services, which proved very handy.

Mobile probably has the best navigation so far as there is no trace delay all flowing as it should with the black background is very relaxing. Impressive is the keyboard, which is probably the best stock keyboard I've tried. He understands perfectly what letter I want to push and the errors I was always the right correction. For the first time ever, a keyboard has a sound that is not annoying. However, things are not so good on the usability of OS. The absence of any shortcut is something we host any Android User. On a personal basis I found particularly disturbing the process of activating Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile data, because each time had to get into the settings menu. Moreover, the lock screen is almost useless, because through it you can not pass in any application, as it is on Android, and you can reply to an email without going through the menu, like in iOS. Finally there is an annoying problem with Wi-Fi, which turns off the screen when closed, and does not turn fast enough, and the LED notification only used to indicate low battery. But why?
Finally, one area that the Windows Phone 8 lacking the competition is that the applications. The online store of Microsoft, being relatively new, has a small number of applications. It will cover you for the basics, but will surely come a time when you will look for something specific and you will not find something worthy of your expectations. Hopefully the developers to catch fast work!

Performance and Camera

The performance of the mobile is top in every area. Zero crashes, no delay (the animations could be a little faster to give the impression that the mobile is faster). The performance of the browser, the new Interent Explorer 10 is top with immediate loading of pages and perfect clarity while navigating the site is nearly perfect and without load 100%. The reading large PDF files is no problem, the sound is maybe the best in the market right now.The camera 8megapixels is satisfactory, producing pretty good results. Not so fast as in One S and One X, nor the infinite choices of competitive models, but you will not be troubled, while the LED flash will illuminate your adequately dark shots. The video at 1080p is very good without hangs and shadows move. The sample video below gives an idea of the capabilities of the camera.

Finally, regarding the autonomy of the device, it reaches about 20 hours with everything off except 3G which worked 1-2 hours a day (the 2G is always open). This is an average performance. By comparison, the Galaxy S III with the same usage reaches 30 hours.

Conclusion
THE HTC 8X is an honest proposal. An excellent workmanship and a beautiful functional will satisfy the not so discerning user. Few customization options compared to Android, considerably smaller number of applications from the iOS. However, you can bring to your operating with live tiles and make your HTC 8X a part of you and not just your cell phone, something that contributed excellent integration of social networks. Ointment may be the price. Without having an outstanding feature at the top of his tariff range with price of 600 euros.
Barcelona, February 2011. Nokia's CEO Stephen Elop announced a new strategic plan of the company, which aims to abandon the Symbian operating and gradual transition to that of Windows Phone 7. Certainly a function with the history and capabilities of Symbian deserves not to be lost so easily and thankfully Nokia kept the best for last. Of course talking about NOKIA 808 last (literally) flagship Symbian and the first phone to adopt the technology Pureview, which in combination with the lens makes the 41mp as the ultimate cameraphone market.

View
Holding for the first time Nokia 808 in our hands, two things are what impressed me. First, you can see the phones side view in the below picture and find that the side view is not that much good. Certainly will not win any design award (unlike the Lumia 800/900), but neither is as bad as initially thought personally. And secondly, the camera is pretty thin. The latter does not mean that it is lightweight. It weighs 169gr and essentially o key compromise that had to be done to place the sensor of 41mp. 808 In contrast to its predecessor the N8 is made entirely of plastic. This is not necessarily bad because the plastic used is very good quality with excellent tactile sensation.

At the bottom of the screen we have the classic three hardware buttons on Symbian, while the upper part is the entrance to the headphones and the doors for microUB / microHDMI. On the right side we have the spinners and audio capture key. Finally there is the package charger, headphones, mini usb cable, but unfortunately no HDMI cable

Features
Behind the protective Gorilla Glass The Nokia 808 features a 4-inch ClearBlack AMOLED screen resolution 360 x 640 (RGB). The ClearBlack technology is essentially a set of polarizing filters which are designed to eliminate the blur, eliminating specific wavelengths of light that are responsible for this phenomenon mainly outdoors. It also gives the opportunity for higher contrast, deeper black while the other colors you create the sense that popping out of the screen. Generally, the display 808 is excellent with very good viewing angles and only minus the low resolution. Theoretically Symbian supports higher resolutions but the situation this time around functional and minimal support from the developers an increase in resolution would create even more problems. At the other technical characteristics NOKIA used an ARM 11 processor uninucleate running at 1.3Ghz, 512 MB RAM and 16GB of storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. compass, NFC, FM tuner, FM transmitter (very useful and highly underrated feature), GPS, front camera 0.3mp (VGA ) for which unfortunately there is no option to turn it through the UI camera, Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g / n), Bluetooth 3 and accelerometer is currently composing a complete package. Regarding autonomy thanks to its 1,400 mAh battery available in 808, the numbers given by Nokia is 6.5 hours talk time and 540 hours stand by. Minutes with normal use you can make comfortable without the need charging as we have seen from personal experience. Then of course if you play with the camera ready to see these numbers decrease dramatically.

Softwares
The 808 runs the new version of Symbian, known by the name Belle Feature Pack 1. Key features are the 6 homescreens, better multitasking, more widgets, support for Dolby Digital Plus, enhanced drop down menu both for me and for enabling / disabling wifi / mobile data etc. and the new version of Web Browser. Lets start first the positive. The scrolling between homescreens is finally quite smooth (not at levels wp7/ios) and the same can be said for navigating through the menus, the list of programs and the interface of the camera. including Nokia has always offered a variety of applications with order to overcome shortcomings of operation. The two most important applications are the Nokia NOKIA Drive and NOKIA Maps. The first is a complete application offline navigation with turn by turn instructions the maps that are available for free download. Provides 3D and 2D maps and some points of interest include spaces parking, gas stations and also historical monuments.

And the NOKIA Maps is essentially something equivalent of Google Maps, the maps do not need an Internet connection and over the hundreds of landmarks displayed around your location. , are available many useful widgets (weather forecast, meter data, music player etc.) and social application gives you access to twitter and facebook. Unfortunately the latter although with improved performance in scrolling in response relative to previous versions, remains away from where it should be. And the widget would not characterize it as the definition of usability and the messages appear cut, thus forcing you to run in the app to see the entire message, which cancels the need for the widget. Other useful applications are DLNA Play by which you can show your photos and videos to your DLNA-compatible devices (eg TVs) wirelessly removing cables. addition to the Big Screen application you can turn your phone into a media player, connecting it via HDMI cable to your TV. For movie buffs there is the application Nokia trailers which, as you can understand from the name, has a large collection of movie trailers, which if you want to save them to your phone. Symbian-not no built-in capability for Internet Sharing and it gives Nokia the free version of Joikuspot. Unfortunately the specific application we could not make it work with the sim that we had in our possession. Under the cooperation of Nokia and Microsoft last brought the Office platform Symbian. So after OneNote, Lync 2010, Document Connection and PowerPoint Broadcast is now available via the Software Update Word Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile and Excel Mobile.

Finally there preinstalled apps like CNN, Shazam, Quickoffice, Youtube (miserable, prefer FastTube), Silent Film Director (you can create little videos with effects and make them share the Youtube / Facebook), Vlingo Nokia Internet Radio (since there is not the Tunein is the best you can find in Symbian as a replacement), Adobe Reader and National Geographic. Let's go and negative views. The keyboard is unacceptable. The letters in portrait is very close to one another, thereby typing errors are commonplace. Worse doing things that language change is the whole process. Solutions like langswitch not always work successfully. Fortunately the situation improves with the use of Swype. Of course if you do not like Swype will run on the classic keyboard which looks as a nightmare. Basically forget comfortable browsing to pages that do not have a mobile version. Particularly in heavy html5/javascript pages scrolling and pinch to zoom are snail's pace, while it is not uncommon to completely crash the browser. Sure many will say that there is a solution to the Opera. On some pages behave worse even than the default Symbian browser (eg does not support html5 page Youtube), and although there is the potential to become the default browser of operating the majority of applications ignore him. Generally the experience of browsing on Symbian is very poor and virtually repels to use the phone for such a purpose.

Finally we reach the perennial problem of Symbian. The applications. NOKIA as we saw before offering a wide variety of applications that are considered essential for a smartphone. From then on, however you should take the job developers. Unfortunately the Symbian never was their favorite OS and now to finish could not change the situation. So the remarkable applications are few and are mostly too expensive, while some are not available in the Store for 808 While supporting the belle  Generally if you are used to have in your mobile phone that was released by newest theme applications / games on Symbian transition will be difficult.

Camera and Video
Result of five years of research and development, technology PureView manages to bring stunning clarity images, large zoom without loss quality and excellent performance in low light conditions. particular, the very strong sensor analyzer 41mp (1/1.2 "intses/2.5 times greater than that of the N8!), combined with lens Carl Zeiss allows the so-called pixel oversampling , which like trying to describe in simple terms the people of Nokia, allows a combination of many pixels in a perfect pixel that holds all the information of the image but removes the noise.

Nokia 808 Pureview users will have the following advantage:-

  • Strong growth in sensor
  • On how to combine a good zoom with the small size of a mobile phone and
  • the architecture of the device, which ultimately allows the management of such a large volume of data.

This was exactly the reason why the development of PureView lasted five years. Result of all this was to create images of 5 megapixels with only 1MB size and with less noise than anything else we've seen so far . course it must be noted that the 41MP constitute the entire surface 7728 X 5368 pixels, which can cover the sensor apparatus. The maximum resolution that can reach the photographs in real reaches 7152 X 5368 (38MP) in 4:3 ratio and 7728 x 4354 (34MP) to 16:9. More specifically, support for 4:3 shots at 3 MP, 5 MP, 8 MP and 38 MP and 16:9 in 2 MP, 5 MP [Default device], 8 MP and 34 MP. Finally impressive camera 808 of fill necessary for night photos Xenon flash, and normal LED flash for use in video capture. The latter can be used as a flashlight and holding for a few seconds the lock slider. transition to The camera becomes like in WP7 pressing the shutter key. Here you come into contact with the UI of the camera which also has undergone huge changes for the better. So there are three different functions. Automatic mode is ideal for new users or for when you want to take a picture in a hurry without being interested in the various options (the only thing you can change is the flash on / off). All photos are at 5mp and se 16:9 ratio.

In operation scene you can select presets like Landscape, Close-up, Sports, etc. depending on the occasion for which you want to take pictures. And here the analysis remains at 5mp. Finally there is the creative mode which provides a variety of options such as the ability to disable the technology and selection Pureview Full Size to 38mp (4:3) and 34mp (16:9), ISO from 50 to 1600, Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness, shooting and many other more. Outstanding is also the possibility that we can save 3 different states options for quick access. Closing UI field to name one big mistake that has been made in the Greek translation. On Quality JPEG» there are two options (Normal / Superfine ). The Greek translation is Normal / Low . Superfine course does not mean minimum and hopefully in the next firmware to correct this mistake. Let's see now what happens in practice. As you can see in the photos above the 808 actually has no rival. Even the former King of cameraphones N8 is forced to bow before him. Noise is minimal, the colors rendered correctly, while the possibility of zoom (2x without loss in quality 8MP) offers great flexibility to get just the picture you want. There, however, that goes far beyond the N8 is in low light thanks to the large aperture (f/2.4), the larger sensor (1/1.2 vs. 1/1.8), the most powerful xenon flash, but the technology Pureview . single point in having a 'problem' in 808 is in Macro mode. The NOKIA says that mobile can make focus from 15cm to infinity. In reality, however, will have no problem to focus closer than 25cm. Of course, thanks to the possibility of lossless zoom can focus 808 from farther away, without any problem in quality of the final result. Unsurprisingly Pureview applied technology and recording video. The UI remains the same, so again we have opportunities for Auto (in 1080p) / Scenes / Creative with similar options for photos. But there are two extra choices, which is to activate or not the LED flash and the CAF (Continuous Autofocus). The camera supports video capture FullHD 1080p at 30 fps and 720p at 30fps. The coding is done in the video The two hundred sixty-four the bitrate to touches on the 21st Mbps and supports stereo recording . The large sensor allows 4x zoom and 6x at 1080p at 720p, while worth mentioning the  Slide to Zoom , which allows the holder the device can easily focus on a specific point of the image. This function can be very useful when you need to do zoom during video capture. Video quality is excellent as expected with minimal noise while traffic remains smooth at 30fps (do not forget that one of the two nuclei GPU is used exclusively by the camera).

Conclusion
The Nokia 808 is the best cameraphone market by far. The combination of technology Pureview with high-quality Carl Zeiss optics leaving no room for doubts. For Symbian users who are satisfied with this functional, the 808 is a dream come true. Also comparing it with the previous flagship of the Symbian N8, the 808 excels in all areas. Better camera, faster CPU / GPU, powerful Xenon flash, double the RAM, larger screen and improved in combination with the latest and best version of Symbian (which continues to hold the lead as the most complete functional market) make the 808 worth replacement N8. For other users who come from but functional as Android / iOS / WP transition to Symbian will be difficult and need to make several compromises if they want to get the 808. Applications and games as we are few and those few that are worth quite expensive. Both the Symbian browser and Opera is well behind the competition. If you are not satisfied because the Swype will stay with the default keyboard is not ergonomic. The resolution of 360 x 640 in the year 2012 is really low and if the screen quality is so good that you can easily make a retreat on this issue. Finally, the fact that Symbian has an expiration date is not helping the situation.
Archos launched its new generation Tablets Archos G10 XS and more specifically the model Archos 101 Xs with great features.
Though earlier tablets, the Archos seem to leave some disadvantages to this seems to work out much.
Let's look at the specifications of  Archos 101 XS

First a magnetic cover rather similar to that of the iPad. The thickness reaches only 8 mm while the weight at 600 grams.

The screen is 10.1 inches as the name suggests the tablet's resolution is to 1280 × 800 but unfortunately not display uses IPS panel technology MVA but that still has pretty good viewing angles. Regarding the ports new tablet features Mini-HDMI, Micro USB with OTG capabilities and micro-sd port that can take memory cards up to 64 GB!

Surprise is the magnetic cover that turns into Full Qwerty keyboard and serves as a dock for the tablet. The internal 16GB memory reaches whereas as we accept and micro SD and classics plus Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Finally, the price will be $ 400 and will make its appearance in the middle of next month.

Here comes Archos G10 XS

It seems that Archos will announce the new generation of tablets within the IFA Berlin 2012 or a little earlier in a separate event. The new generation rumored to be very much like the ASUS Transformers as it will have a separate keyboard and almost It seems that Archos will announce the new generation of tablets within the IFA Berlin 2012 or a little earlier in a separate event. The new generation rumored to be very much like the ASUS Transformers as it will have a separate keyboard and almost the same design.

The picture that accompanied the announcement of the Archos does not say much but we can clearly see a row of pins on the bottom, probably for connecting keyboard, 2 holes probably for the sound or to support the tablet in a stand. And finally on the right side we see the buttons power on / off sleep button. Underneath you can see the trailer video made by the company a few months ago.

Not even to have something tangible, the famous web-mobile considered very reliable in such matters-our presents features of the new Apple device that too many people waiting with impatience. Whether it is real or not these elements should make patience a few more days, as only Apple itself knows that it will be the subject of new iPhone looks and features.

Starting the dimensions of the device understand that the size has increased and it makes sense for the new iPhone, according to several sources, will bring screen with a diagonal of 4 inches . So we see the dimensions 123.8 x 58.5 x 7.6 mm without knowing even the weight. The IPS screen is four inches, with resolution 640 x 1136 pixels and an impressive ppi (pixels per inch) of nearly 326 . It is available in 3 versions depending on the internal memory (16,32,64 GB) and the RAM has increased compared with previous models to 1GB . In the process now, Apple has really impressed us, as we meet a quad-core processor clocked at 1,2 GHz! The processor is not the only highlight of the new device, however. The camera steals also the show since the MP amount of at 12 and can record video in Full HD resolution . Meet in front and a second camera for video calls .On other technical features, the device may use 4G networks will have GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS  and wears the iOS 6.Whether all this is true we are not able to know, but if so the device, the iPhone 5 or whatever it will be called, will be a very impressive Smartphone.

The Sony Reader PRS-T2, differences from the previous model is mainly in design and even there are marginal. For the first time we can also post them directly from the device quotations on Facebook, which can have long had competing devices. The most interesting new feature is the ability to read the device internet pages and notes you have stored in Evernote service and, conversely, store in Evernote quotations from our e-books. Although the price of the new Sony Reader did not fall, is a major difference with the old model this device does not support audio files.
Specifications of Sony Reader PRS T-2
The Sony Reader PRS T-2 has a touch screen of electronic paper (Pearl of E Ink, 800 x 600 resolution , 16 scales of gray), is connected to the internet via WiFi and has a browser, an internal memory of 2GB (with 1,3 GB available for storage of e-books) port and MicroSD expansion up to 32 GB more. Its weight is 167 grams and is advertised as "the lightest electronic reader in the world." There are 6 built dictionaries (English Britain and the U.S., and from English, Spanish and French) and supports PDF and ePUB, unlocked or locked with Adobe. As before, the device comes with a stylus which can keep notes or draw freehand without the use of the virtual keyboard. It costs $ 129.99 and is available in white, black and red in the U.S. and Canada.

Key its advantage, Sony Reader still the better PDF support , usability with multiple zooms and automatic zooming of Two column, or three column page. A big difference in the technical data relative to the previous model that doesn't support audio files (music, podcast or audio book) and has, consequently, speakers and headphone port. Sorry.

It is not the first time I say that if they want the tablets to gain a foothold, you should replace all the paraphernalia that we use in our daily lives and can not work without them: notebooks, laptops, briefcases. To some extent, the technology market has managed to make us "forget" the last two. The laptops and briefcases. The Samsung, with the renewed Galaxy Note 10.1 presented the day of August 15th and features the world, and managed to remove the notebook.

At 10.1 inches the Samsung device has put a screen resolution 1280 × 800, quite bright. Inside, the tablet has a quad-processor Exynos, clocked at 1,4 GHz, with 2GB RAM and, if you do not like plastics and many receptions in a tablet, is something that must be overcome if you want to use a real tool. The tablet support SDcard and expand the memory of your tablets, or select the version of the new 16GB Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, or that of 32GB. The 5 MP camera will takes great pictures and a 7000 mAh battery to ensure your autonomy that allows you to watch videos in high brightness of up to 5 hours and 42 minutes. And, of course, is has the Stylus. The S Pen..

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is not the first Android tablet that tries to exploit the use of a Stylus. Along with the classic, 5s Note, however, proves that Samsung is the best. Those who tried it, experienced that the response is excellent, and has a range of sensitivity and response 1024 points. The next step, however, is the fact that the text you write using the S Pen, recognized by the Software Note and digitized whether it is text or mathematical formulas, or some basic shapes. The English is very good to write with S pen, but we will respond with more confidence when you test it in practice. Both applications, the S Note and Photoshop Touch supposedly the greatest advantage of using S Pen. Note that these applications are good, but not the best that could make someone crazy about the use of S Pen.  Do not understand why we have to buy S pen separately. It is not the first time you see this, but it is still incomprehensible.

The Samsung may be using the Android 4.0 Galaxy Note 10.1, but with TouchWiz, we all admit that it's like to have a completely different OS, with fans and fanatical enemies. The truth is that the TouchWiz offers a different experience, more simplified into basic procedures and less chaotic than the rest of Android. The key note of all who tried the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the freedom one has to run different applications and next to them to run the function S Pen with notes. Side by side, not one over the other. Of course there are some applications in a mini menu for quick access to display a window that floats, such as the calendar or clock, and others, but the basic usage gives options to build one the size of the screen for multitasking.

There are those who like their tablets and those who like their iPads. In the first case, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will see a multi-tool that will solve their hands in their professional or academic activities. In the case of the latter will see a plastic tablet that has some good features but it gets the mind. There is a third phylum but people who will see the new Galaxy Note 10.1 as a continuation of the Galaxy Tab with features of Galaxy Note and think about whether to invest $ 499.99 for the 16GB version and $ 549 for a of 32GB (only Wi-Fi) for what it really is a tablet that will be useful to be able to do even better.

This is quite clearly a Hyundai is the latest car for the Indian market and is jumping right into exclusive sedan class.  It is the new Hyundai Elantra. Hyundai’s previous cars didn’t have such a good run here in India but more recently with the Verna we have seen that Hyundai can give some really solid products that hit the sweet spot in Indian market.  Can the Elantra hold on the Hyundai template now. Let's check it out.

Hyundai’s new Elantra has been making waves global and going just by the way it looks it is bound to be a winner in India as well.  Coming to the design. Although, the  flowing design somewhat looks like previous cars, the Elantra is distinguishable from other Hyundai’s. The headlamps are slimmer which stretch to the back and look sharper.  Two sharp lines on the side and tight glass area make the Elantra looks sportier.  The window line is sharper to the edge for a sporty look and it is neater than the other.  The slim two backlight designs are very closer to the Sonata than the Verna. The high boot lip also has a sporty spoiler lip integrated into.  The Elantra sports marks 16 inch alloys with 205 section rubber on it. That completes a striking and attractive package.  The Elantra also features fog lamps and power mirrors with indicaotrs.

The Verna’s interiors were quite up to the mark when it came to materials and fit and finish. But now here the Elantra, things have gotten better several launches.  The interior design of this 5th generation Elantra is a far drive from the interiors of the 3rd generation car that was on offer in India earlier. The multilayer dashboard throws down towards the center console. The design will make you smile, the narrow waist, the glossy black rim and chrome lining are really nice flourishes.  The instrument cluster looks cool and it is easy to read too. There are lots of practical storage spaces around the cabin as well.

The dashboard has a digital clock on the top with the music system below. Apart from CDs it has connectivity for Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary post as well. The climate control air conditioning is found right at the bottom has independent temperature controls for the driver and the passenger.  The Elantra sports keyless start, automatic headlights, cruise control, tilt and make adjusting to the steering wheel, a reverse camera and power folding mirrors with indicator lights. The top end Elantra features six way power adjustments for the driver seat well the passenger seat has to be adjusted manually. But both the seats are cool.

The rear passenger gets arm rest which also has controls for the music system.  That’s really neat and as expected theirs air conditioning vents to keep the passenger they're really cool.  The back seat is pretty good with nice soft cushions and feels supported.  Leg space is also really good but head can be a bit tight if you are tall otherwise it has a great interior. The flat floor is the other advantage of the car which makes better a better comfort for the middle passenger. Finally talking about the safety, the Elantra features 6 air bags which is a good safety measurement.

Elantra comes with an option of two engines – the petrol model is a new 1.8 liter motor that can change valve timing on the intake and exhaust case.  It can also change the length of the intake track for the engine.  All this technology has to improve efficiency and economy while reducing intake.  The 1.8 liter petrol engine has a power of 146bhp and 18kgm of torque.  With an option you can choose the 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.  The second option engine is the diesel engine 1582cc CRDI Motor with 126bhp power and 26.5kgm of torque.  When the power is channelised to the six speed manual gearbox , the Elantra was quite perfect.  Elantra gives a mileage of 13 kmpl in a six speed manual gearbox which is really impressive.  Now if you are driving in lower speed in the city it gives pretty good performance to beat the traffic but if you put your foot down suddenly dynamic expecting to move ahead, it's not going to do that. On fast smooth highways the six speed manual the Elantra cruise effortlessly. It hits triple digits with ease and crunches kilometers without any lag. Now when it comes to the automatic gearbox, the Elantra uses six speed automatic gear transformation for better performance on highways.  The diesel automatic version is very clearly focused to the cites driving and stop go conditions but the wheel drove it pretty much out on the highway.  In diesel manual mode, the  shifts are smooth and quick responsive for a better drive ability. Overall seems to be a pretty nice gear.  Still Elantra is a very exciting vehicle to drive very smooth and long highways.

The suspensions are very good in low speed drive and  city drive it feels very comfortable but as a speed drive out in the highways you will find that body control is not that great. At low speed the steering feels very nice but at higher speed you will feel inconsistent. However the Elantra can boost of a really long 270cm wheel base. A couple of millimeters more would have made it a longest in its class. The 16 inch alloy wheels with p205/60R16 tires also promise a difference in the dynamic department.  Even though it won't be exciting the combining micro electronic area of ESE, ABS and VSA are sure to make Elantra a safer sedan. Elantra promises everything we expect from Hyundai’s new generation of cars and in some areas it delivers a little bit small.  The Elantra is a stylish looking vehicle with lots of features. It is a slight city focused car, low speed drive  I very comfortable, high speed dynamics not the best but it is better than what we expected. Another area of improvement needed is in the interior fit finish and quality. Overall it is a vehicle which offers you a lot of value and its engine option also gives you a lot to think about it.  You have got a option of petrol, diesel, automatic gearbox , manual gearbox all for a midrange variant makes it a really strong package offered from Hyundai.  The Ex-howroom  price of Hyndai Elantra is Rs.1300000/- in India.

Renault had really struggled in the Indian auto market . They had joined with M&M and the logan didn’t create a right image for them. And then the vehicles that they launched on their own like the Koleos , The Fluence, The pulse haven’t created too many ripples either. They need something big. Well this isn’t exactly big, it’s a compact SUV but will it be the game changer for Renault.  Well the Duster has hit quite a sweet spot. There isn’t anything else like it around at its price point.  If we are to make comparisons, there are other compact SUV’s like the Premier Rio, but that’s very small and it has a much lower price point or you have Skoda yeti which is a far more premium. Yes we can say that this is in the same price bracket as Mahindra Scorpio but then they are two different animals.  This compact SUV looks a whole lot bigger than you would imagine. It looks every bit an SUV, with the flair wheel arches, scuff plates, huge clearance, and the metal roof rails. The squarish headlights and the chrome grill give the Renault Duster a premium look. The side is pretty straight forward with no nonsense doors and no styling flourishes. The body swells in a nice way out to the tail lights which are quite small but enhance by the best effect on the body. The chrome bar on the tail gate proudly carries the name in bold.

The Duster interior realizes you  where the cost cuttings are. There are simple handles and no rubber beading on the door.  The interiors are looking like Logan but it still doesn’t feel premium  enough. The plastics are shiny and hard but the quality looks like its from lower level. The seats are flattened hard too but they do offer enough support. Now whether the cabin lacks in class it makes a bit practicality. Coming about the storage space. A dash top storage about the central console, 5 cup holders and pretty decent side pockets however they are only good for maps or books but not for the bottle.  Luggage space is good for its size. The flat floor doesn’t have any intrusions  and the floor isn’t too high which makes loading easy. You can increase the luggage are too by down the one piece backrest of the rear seat.  However there are some chocks on this interior  like the A/C controls are behind the gear lever so it is a little difficult to use.  Another great difficulty is the mirror adjustment controls are under the hand brake so you have to pull the hand brake up to access it easily.  The top end of Renault Duster will get leather seats, seat height adjust, Rear A/C vent, forward panels on the door and airbags. The rear A/C unit is an extra add-on for India and it looks just like it was an afterthought too.  The Duster will be available in both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol will be a 1.6 liter engine with 102.5bhp and 14.8 kgm of torque. The diesel will be a 1.5 liter engine available in two states , a 108 bhp and 84 bhp with two different price points of course.  However the performance doesn’t feel as Linea and Fluence, there is quite a bit of lag and you do a push part to 2000 RPM   you will feel the kick of this engine.  The Duster has 1308Kg weight means that real world performance is actually pretty good.

With the 6th gear the Duster cruise very comfortable. And though the gearbox is light it is a bit notchy to use and the clutch feels heavy too.  You can really through the duster around the corner and have fun with it, body comfortable and tire grip well  and you really get a confidence that Duster is beyond your expectations. The space at the back is very good and legroom, the headroom is the really best part of this car. It handles a nice flat drive and the suspension work widely too which is a great bonus. Renault claims that the Duster diesel engine will give around 19km/l   for the 110 bhp and 20km/l for the 84bhp version.  Well it looks like an SUV, it got a good ground clearance and as you can feel  you can do a fair bit of offroading as well. But still its so car like in manner, it's light and  easy to drive when you are in the city or when you are in traffic conditions and the ride and handling is simply superb. It's got good performance, its got a decent size boot, and it is comfortable and spacious in the back  seat. The pricing is well , we feel that the Renault wants it to make that big impact and this needed to be a little more aggressivly price. Still there is no taking away from the fact that they have hit a sweet spot and this is the very little capable SUV.  The Ex-showroom price of Renaul Duster for the petrol engine is Rs.7.19Lakh and the diesel engine is Rs.7.99 Lakh. So for all of you out there who wanted that SUV and thought that is either too big and bulky to drive and thought they are too expensive, here something that fits perfectly and we give him a thumps up.
